How It Works
Fotografia provides the opportunity for photographers to display their work and get a link back to their portfolio, blog, or website. In order to be considered you need to include the following with your submission:
- Title of work
- Place of capture (if applicable)
- Link to your website or online portfolio
- Year picture was taken
Primarily we publish picture stories. Picture stories are images that are accompanied with a story. It should be a short blurb (100-300 words) explaining your image and why it is important. It can be personal, such as the way your image affected your life directly, or an explanation as to what the image is, such as a popular pilgrimage spot or an interesting person you came across while traveling. Fotografia welcomes creativity, so the story is left up to the photographer. All stories must be true unless otherwise stated. Offensive and disparaging picture stories will not be used.
We also publish feature stories in which participants can submit images related to a certain theme or subject. When we are looking for feature stories we will post an ad and tell you which theme or subject you should use.
All contributors retain all copyright to their work. Contributors are credited and are provided the opportunity to leave a link back to their own website.
